I love the paint job on this front derailleur. I've read that Force components are basicaly the same as Rival but with a nicer paint job but I think its worth paying the dfew extra bucks if you like the greenish gunmnetal finish like I do. Some people online complain about shifting with Sram front derailleurs but I find that if you follow their setup instructions to the t, it works perfectly. I think it especially helps if the derailleur cage is only 1 mm above the large chainring.

No wonder PRO racers were using Force front derailleurs instead of the old Red ones! This baby shift accurately every time, even under load while standing up! And making things even sweeter, after 3 years and over 20,000km, it's still as solid as day one, zero play!

Best bang for the buck from SRAM. Mine has the black clamp which I like best on the carbon frame. Set it and forget it!

It's only a couple bucks more than the Rival FD and when I ordered there were no Rival FDs in stock. It's just a FD but this one works perfect and hasn't needed any adjustments in the first 250miles of riding. Since I only have a double crank and the bulk of my riding is flat or small hills I'm not shifting down to the small ring very often but I don't ever see this piece failing.
