The install is easy and the lock rings hold well. The rubber on the grips begins to wear off within first month of use, by end of second month you can see the black plastic through the rubber. This is not a quality product, this is for looks only.

Even with big hands I prefer a thin grip; any time I've used thick grips I end up with sore hands. These SRAM grips are certainly thin (some of the thinnest I've ever used), and the pattern is very grippy. My only nitpick is the very tiny screws used in the plastic locking collars. While I haven't had any problems, I think it would be easy to strip out the threads in the collars. Maybe the added weight of metal collars would be worth the weight sacrifice.

Have them on my SS rigid and my Giant Trance full squish. They're great: don't slip and sticky, just like a good grip should be.
Only downside is the end cap: weak, flimsy.

Overall this seems to be a good value for a good set of locking grips. They were an absolute breeze to install and havent budged at all. My main problem with the grips, and why i only rated them at 4 stars, are the afterthought end caps. They are very flimsy and cheap and unless you have extremely thin walled handles bars they wont push in. I needed to trim back parts of the plug and then hit them with a rubber mallet. Otherwise these seem to be very good grips. They are slim, quite sticky, and aesthetically pleasing. I ordered them in red and they look and feel great.
