My bike came with this cassette stock. It shifted ok, but almost immediately I noticed a clunking feeling in the pedals. When I removed the cassette to remove the spoke guard, the small allen screw that holds the cogs together had loosened completely and the whole cassette fell apart. Loctite fixed this issue, but overall for such a heavy cassette I would not purchase this. Spend the extra money and get the PG990.

This is a solid cassette for the money (although sometimes you can find the 970 on sale for the same price, and that cassette gives you much better performance). It shifts fine, but not as quickly as others. It's a bit heavier, but it also lasts a while.

I have been using these SRAM cassettes on my road bikes for the last few years. The shifting performance is great and they are reliable.
Comments about Sram PG 950 9 Speed Cassette '10:
Bought this on sale. I had a Shimano and it shifts almost as good as the Shimano, not 100% but close. BTW - I use KMC chains.
This cassette is the 11-34 which is the best gearing for what I doo. Fits my hub perfectly. Easy install.
It is heavy which I won't mind as long as it lasts. I have used sram 970's before and had reasonable service from them, so I am anticipatting getting at least 2 seasons on this one. Time will tell.

Comments about Sram PG 950 9 Speed Cassette '10:
SRAM performance is as good if not better than Shimano and they almost always cost less. I use the PG 950 or PG 970 on all three of my bikes and while they certainly aren't the lightest, they are a solid deal.

Comments about Sram PG 950 9 Speed Cassette '10:
I assembled my bike using all Shimano 105 components on a Soma Smoothie ES frame. I've been riding and working on my bikes for decades.
Comments about Sram PG 950 9 Speed Cassette '10:
Product looks solid, however the material used (alloy) certianlly doesn't lend to long-term durability for larger riders! Bigger folks consider a higher-quality product
Comments about Sram PG 950 9 Speed Cassette '10:
Frustrating, Is it a crime to produce a quality product? do they no test these things out?
