Comments about Sram Team GXP Bottom Bracket:

This BB does what it's supposed to; spin freely and never make me think about it. It has a nice finish and makes a solid interface between my frame and cranks.

The cranks go in, and they turn!
The Stylo will not fit a Shimano external BB... has to be GXP.

    Worst Design Ever

Comments about Sram Team GXP Bottom Bracket:

I am extremely disappointed in SRAM. The drive-side bearing has a plastic cover which moves outward towards the crank arm leaving the bearing exposed to dust and dirt, water and mud. This results in removing the cranks after each ride, re-greasing and fitting the plastic part. On my BB the moving away from the bearing caused around 1mm (thickness of the plastic) of play between the BB and the crank's "thru-pipe".This had the effect that the driveside bearing was receiving the pedal force at an angle (in my non-mechanical opinion) and the bearing is now "Shot/seized/useless", this is after less than two months. Poor finishing. I've used the previous version for 3 years doing around 4000 miles of All Mountain/Freeride riding which served its purpose beyond expectation. I hope this is not a sign of quality being sacraficed due to quantity...

I have this for about 10 months. It is not strong in water sealing. It needs monthly re-grease!
