Love the twisting shifters, makes me feel I'm on a motocross, and for me it's more comfortable than changing with the thumb, and even because of the demanding after chaining to 10 speed, Sram had to take it back to production with the XX models. Besides looks more clean the bike, its super simple the mechanism and lighter.

I bought these shifters to complete a conversion to a 9-speed drivetrain. These shifters are a joy to use with crisp shifts and positve detents between gears. The integrated gear indicator is a usefull tool, and the coated cables ensure the shifts will remain smooth. Highy recommended.

This is the most intuitive way to design a shifter. Your hands stay on the grips at all times and you can break and shift at the same time. The simple design is very reliable and needs no maintenance. The only choice if you are building a super light weight rig. I hope SRAM keeps them in production and updates for new derailer designs.

hands down, the best shifters. twist shifters are very underated. they make dumping all the gears in one twist possible. fast, light, and efficient. my only complaint is that they are not carbon like the older generations. but overall a great shifter and in my opinion better than trigger shifters.
