Well, considering they are the right size tubes and will inflate when I need them to, these should be exactly what I need. Local bike shops don't tend to carry 2.2 -2 .5 tubes. In fact, I was told by one bike shop that 1.95 X 2.2 is the biggest tube I could find. Well, I guess that's why online bicycle retailers are doing so much better than local bike shops. Thanks again Jenson. You rule!

They work well enough, just like any other tube. At the resort I pinch flatted 2 of them in one day at 32psi in the tires. They aren't really rated for downhill but I didn't think I was doing anything too crazy. Getting the "first" air in them can be difficult as some inner seal didn't want to give, especially with a hand pump, it took some vigorous encouragement to get the air started in the tube.

Comments about Standard All-Mountain Tube 2.2-2.5:

I bought a few different tubes and this one was the same as the ones in my old tires. So it is the same width as a 1.9 to 2.1 but the rubber is thicker.

Comments about Standard All-Mountain Tube 2.2-2.5:

Tube blew out (on a seam running the circumference) on a very routine dirt trail with a 180 lb. rider (me); no rocks or roots. I ride a full suspension bike with 5+ inches travel.. tube should not have failed.

Comments about Standard All-Mountain Tube 2.2-2.5:

I bought a few of these tubes and they have worked great. I chose this one specifically because it said it could be used for up to a 2.5 tire. I haven't had any issues other than normal stuff like snakebite from my rims, which was my fault for not using enough air pressure, and taking a hard drop. I would buy these again.

I have found the importance of the RIGHT tube. These are firstly the right size for my tires. They also are the proper thickness, not to thin, not to thick. Like Goldylocks said...just right.

It's hard to find a 2.2-2.5 tube. This size is perfect for a spare tube in my camelback. I can accommodate either of my bikes as well as front/rear, for which i run different sizes.

Not much to say about this bike tube. It inflated my tire for a few months. I ended up getting a pinch flat with it. I think it was over inflated, so I won't blame the tube. I chose this tube over the others because it specified the tire diameter that should be use with it. I don't really know if that matters, but that was the selling point for me. I would probably try a different tube next time, just because I got a flat with it. But I don't think any other brand tube would have an edge unless you pay for it.
