This rim strip is challenging to install - even using Stan's No Tube's website for help. Once you figure it out though - your wheels are sealed. Only draw back is, making sure you get the rim strip evenly stretched around the rim - if not, you'll have a woobly, unbalanced, and out of round tire. At slow speed - no problem; going fast... you'll feel it. If you can - I recommend you use the No Tube's rim tape if your wheels will allow - no wobble.

Had to use compressor to seat tires during rim strip install.
Flatted on impact with rock on recent ride, tire would not seat with hand pump, had to install tube to get home.
Contacted manufacturer through their website with questions - to date no response.
They burp on rocks and roots, have to add air on longer rides.

Tires sealed up quickly after install. Allows for low pressure 26psi with no burps so far. Rocky terrain in SoCal, no problems.

This is the kind of thing you buy TOGETHER. Had to go out and buy another container so I could ride. It's just a hassle. This was the first of two times in recent weeks that the back order bug has struck this website. Never had this problem with their competitor.

This rim strip allows me to run tubeless (with Stan's sealant) with the TK 7.1 rims on my mountain bike. I am running 2.3x29" WTB ExiWolf tires, and they seat quickly. I have no issues with burping or gradual air loss. This is a great product.

This strip mimics the inner surface that helped make Stan's rims so popular (besides their lightweight)--it gives more of a "bead shelf", something to keep the tire tight when the bead rests on it which gives it the more secure seal. The valve is also built in, so that's another spot that that that allows easy sealant refill, a more secure seal, and doesn't need to be replaced if you ever break the bead like "ghetto tubeless methods".

This is by far the easiest way to shave a couple of pounds off your bike. I hate flats, so I was running beefy DH tubes at nearly a pound each. I saved almost 2 pounds (off the wheels!) by going tubeless with Stan's.
