With input from Enduro World Series teams, the legendary Flow is now new and improved for 2016. Flow MK3 sheds weight while gaining a wider inner profile of 29mm which is perfect for the all-mountain riding crowd looking for a reliable tubeless wheelset. Bead Socket Technology is the most trusted game in the business and the Stan's No Tubes NEO 4 pawl hubs with their 36 points of engagement ensure that the power and traction just keep rolling.
WideRight technology has officially trickled down from Stan's carbon rims and leaked into the aluminum line-up. WideRight rim profiles let the tire take its proper shape and are optimized for a certain tire width. Choose the rim that matches your preferred tire width. A tire rolling as it was designed to, is the magic bullet to a great handling, fast rolling, and responsive bike.
480g rims with Bead Socket Technology (BST) improves tire performance and allows for fewer pinch flats.
Stan's Neo hubs have 36 point of engagement at 10 degrees and 6-bolt disc mounts.

Good value but I've dented my rear in several places
Until recently, I was boycotting Stan's products due to several bad experiences with their products and support. I bought a bike with a Flow EX wheelset on it this summer and when the freehub body blew up after 100 miles, they sent me a whole new Flow Mk3 wheel within 3 days. So I can give their customer service a thumbs up.
I ended up buying a front Flow MK3 so I had a matching set with matching widths and I now have several hundred steep and technical Northern Colorado miles on them.
The hubs have been fine, spoke tension seems low compared to other prebuilt wheels I've bought or ones I've built but I guess that's how they want them. The 29mm inner width is perfect and gives a set of 2.4" tires a great volume and awesome grip.
My only real complaint is that I've got 4 or 5 pretty serious dents in the rear to the point that I'm concerned about its integrity. Granted, I'm kind of heavy (close to 200lbs suited up) and I'm a very aggressive descender on really technical trails so I expect to bottom out on rims occasionally but these just seem really soft to me. I've kept increasing tire pressures to the point where I'm running a pretty hard rear (around 26-30psi) and still bottom out and the rim dents. As a comparison, I've got some Easton Haven's that I ran on a similar bike on the same trails for the better part of 2000 miles and they only have one or two small dents in them.
Maybe it's me and maybe it's the rim. I guess they're cheap enough and you can buy a naked rim to re-lace if you want to go that route so I'm not that upset or disappointed. I would be much more concerned if they were $600 a wheel. When this one is toast, I'll probably buy another. I wish Easton would have come out with a wider Haven before Race Face bought them out.
Save yourself the headache and don't buy Stan's Hubs
My Neo Hub XD Driver failed within 600 miles of new. They sent me a replacement with the "upgraded" 6 pawl design. Within 200 miles, it's already showing signs of the same failure. You can distinctly hear all 6 pawls clicking in individually, surely causing internal stresses that it's not designed for. My LBS is lacing up my old wheel to a new DT 350 hub (with the 54t star) right now. The Stans Neo hub is where it belongs... swimming in beer backwash at the bottom of the recycle bin.
