This is a nice crank. It shifts very well and should be durable with steel chain rings. If the crank is mounted on a spindle longer than 103mm it will probably wear itself, the chain, and rear cassette out more quickly. The 48-38-28 tooth ring set with 170m crank arms gives a good gearing range for riding in the steep hilly terrain where I ride.

This is a good crank for the price. It shifts well and gives me the gearing with a 13 - 34 freewheel for some really steep grades on the route I ride. I needed to use Sugino's 103 mm bottom bracket to get the small chain ring close enough to the center line of the bike for a good chain line. This brought the inside of the small ring to a couple of millimeters out from the right edge bottom bracket. This is where the small chain ring is on my triple ring mountain bikes as well by comparison. I believe a 103 mm spindle is the right length for this crank, since it does not have a dished small ring, rather than the 110mm -113mm stated in the description. A narrow bottom bracket is also good for a narrow pedal width.

Product not as described. Chainrings are riveted not bolt-on. BCD isn't 104. They are usable but when the rings wear out you have to toss the whole crank out.
