Strong, lightweight. Reasonable price. Used OEM rhyno rims for years before, so for my new bike, I'm trying 24" welded Rhyno lite XL, so far so good.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Rock solid, 2+ years on a Jenson build w/king hubs. Been in the shop once at 30 days to get everything reseated and haven't seen a spoke wrench since. For those of us over 220 who ride trails that are hard on the gear regardless of ride size.

I've been riding these rims for over 4 years and i'm placing an order for another one right now. If you're a smooth rider and not downhilling with a 45lb. rig you'll do just fine.

Under moderatly rough riding the rim develops flat spots. Cased the landing on a 12 foot gap jump at the local jump park and the rear rim was trashed. The landing was rough, but I kept rolling and my body weight is only 165. Good weight and price for any-mountain riding, but you better treat them real nice at the local bike park. I'd pay real money to see the previous reviewer do a 60 foot cliff on these rims. Completely different price-point, but if you want light and tough wheels buy yourself a pair of Mavic DeeMax -> that's what I race on my DH bike.

this wheel can stand a lot of abuse. i used it as a front wheel on a hardtail. it with stood nose casing a 35 foot double, instead of the rim bending on this jump, the frame of my bike snaped in half. a few days ago two years later the rim folded into a tasty taco. this is one nice rim.
