Surly MDS Horizontal Dropouts
The Surly MDS system allows their MDS bikes to take on many different personalities, from geared to singlespeed, and QR to thru-axle. The Surly MDS Horizontal Dropouts allow your MDS bike to behave as a singlespeed, with easy to adjust tension via the horizontal arrangement. This part is stainless steel, Surly is adamant that aluminum parts and single speeds do not go together.
