I bought the Tuggnut for my SS belt drive, primarily because it was the first tensioner I could find that could be used with a standard quick release skewer. Everything else seems to need a 3/8" bolt-on axle. So far, it has allowed me to get appropriate tension on the belt and looks reasonably good doing it. The quick release hasn't slipped at all, so Surly's recommendation to get just one Tuggnut has been accurate.
The only downsides are that it is about 3 times the price of other tensioners and the blue Loctite on the threads was a pain during the first installation.

I've had my eye on this thing for a long time. Since I was tired of adjusting my rear wheel every week I finally ordered it for a bike I use as a commuter that has a Felt track frame.
Awesome construction, the material is top notch, it would definitely do its job if it would have fit into my track dropout. It was too big by only a mm or two. With the right tools the edge could probably be ground down to make it fit, but it's beefy.

Easy install, does its job perfectly, and can open a bottle much easier than with popping the top of a spoke.

The Tuggnut fits nicely onto my Gary Fiasher Triton with Halo Aerorage track wheels. I used to have my rear wheel misalign after a few rides and I have to check my rear wheel and brake before each ride. Now this problem did not happen again and it also makes wheel alignment faster.
