Used this on a road bike build. Great fit and finish. The races that go into the frame are also nice metal not chromed cheap stuff you see on a lot of cheaper headsets. If you are looking for unsealed go for this.

The 30.2mm cups in this headset don't fit JIS frames.JIS cups are 30mm!
Only the 27mm crown race will fit.
I learned the hard way like many others and now have a useless headset I can't use.
Other companys in North America are also selling so called JIS headsets with 30.2mm cups and 27mm crown races.
This is wrong and dishonest.

Restoring this bicycle has been a long process. This Headset was so hard to find. I still have much more to do in this restoration. Everything in the stores are different tech' or wrong size. That's why I chose JensonUSA. Don't forget the Grease/Lube for the Ball Bearings.

After repeatedly trying to squish the races into my steerer tube and failing miserably I read Sheldon's headset page again and measured my old races. Sure enough they were 30.0 and my head tube was 29.9. The 27.0 version will not work on a JIS bike ( except for the fork race which fits fine) . These bearings seemed to fit into my old headset just fine, and the new top threaded nut made my old headset look a bit better.
