The Teva Links was designed with the help of freeride mountain biker Jeff Lenosky. Teva began designing the Links by taking a hard look at Lenosky’s current shoe. They saw the busted toe on his previous shoe, so they added a flexible armor across the forefoot. His wet soggy shoes inspired Teva to use their Ion- Mask™ technology, which prevents the material from absorbing water on a molecular level. Teva mapped the sole of the shoe with his pedal. It’s really hard to find a part of the shoe that Jeff Lenosky wasn’t a part of. The Links was built for a pro, by a pro, to be enjoyed by mountain bikers across the world!

Teva incorporated tons of technology into the Links, to enhance your riding experience. Designed using their Spider365 rubber, the sole will hold its grip in all kinds of environments. The sole of the Links was designed specifically to be used with platform pedals. The aggressive tread on the toe and heel grip the dirt when you’re hiking your bike. The Teva E- Brake in the heel features a reverse lug pattern to give you downhill traction when you’re off the bike. Teva’s Shoc Pad™ increases comfort and allows for a smooth ride so feet are less fatigued. Extra padding was also used throughout the upper to soften landings.

Comments about Teva The Links Shoe:

So far these shoes have lived up to their description. I am an all mountain/trail rider that does not like to be cliped in. I like the freedom of being able to adjust my foot position, but untill now never felt connected to the pedal. I got these shoes a day before a ride and like any new shoe they were a little tight outta the box. I wore them around for the day to stretch them out to my feet and thats all it took. they are very comfortable, feel true to size and look like a regular sneaker so they can be worn out to the pub after the ride.wasnt crazy about the colour of the laces but they came with two other colours including black and top quality laces at that. Now for the best part...
I used these shoes in combination with the spank spike platform pedal.(also an amazing product) it felt like my foot was locked in and I was truly connected with the bike but still was able to adjust my feet with ease. during my short yet technical ride I crased and ended up with my feet in a body of water but the shoes kept my feet dry yet still breath well. I cant speak about the durability since I just got them but I have a feeling they should hold up to some abuse. over all a great shoe so far.
