Thomson Seatpost Clamp

Great looks, great clamping, long life and no squeaking.  The perfect addition to your Thomson Cockpit.

The Thomson Seatpost Collar has several features that make it distinct. The collar utilizes the Thomson Seatpost bolt, washer and barrel nut combination that has proven to be strong over the years. This fastener combination allows float on both sides of the collar slot ensuring consistent clamping force. The bolt hole angle, height of the collar and offset slot all help create a collar that generates maximum clamping force at only 25 inch pounds of fastener torque.

    Comments about Thomson Seatpost Clamp:

Stop searching. Look no further. You've travelled through Middle Earth searching for the perfect seatpost clamp - and now it's within your reach!

Looks amazing, works perfectly. I can't think of any other clamp I'd rather run on my bikes. Unless I needed to mount a rear rack or re-route and external dropper postcable. Then I'd get one of those fancy Problem Solvers one. But this one is cooler.

      Comments about Thomson Seatpost Clamp:

I needed a better clamp to prevent slipping in my carbon frame. And it does the job that others can't.
A bit more than what you think you should spend, but with the brass hardware, and well engineered and machined design, it is worth the extra dough.
      Great upgrade.

        Comments about Thomson Seatpost Clamp:

The Bontrager QR clamp could never tighten down enough to keep the seat post on my hard tail from slipping during a ride. I even used an allen wrench to provide as much pre-tension as possible and it still slipped. I replaced it with the Thompson camp and the post has not slipped since. Now I can concentrate on riding instead of being frustrated by the constantly changing seat position.

Since it's not a QR, it's not as convenient to adjust the seat height. I just carry a second 5mm allen key.
