I purchased the new Thule aero bars for my 2011 BMW and installed them with the correct fit kit. Drove around for a week while I waited for the bike mount to arrive. There was no noticeable wind noise of any kind. I also did not notice any reduction in gas mileage. Once I installed the bike carrier the whistling noise at roughly 70 mph became unbearable. I will be calling Thule to ask if they have a solution.
