The Slope Fototec is just at home on the bike as it is off, but is still designed to be a high performance cycling lens. Made from Grilamid TR-90, a homopolyamide nylon characterized by an extremely high alternative bending strength, low density, and high resistance to chemical and UV damage, the Slope is tough enough to handle the abuse of everyday riding. The Slope Fototec uses special lenses that automatically darken or lighten depending on the lighting conditions, allowing you to ride through shady groves and open fields without having to remove your glasses.

These are really sweet shades at a good pprice.I like everything about them but the fact they scratch easily.The first time I dropped them left 2 nicks in the lens but out of view.

    Comments about Tifosi Optics Slope Fototec Sunglasses:

    I use these for MTB single track.. This winter I have maintained my MTB riding and with the heavy snow back I was getting to much glare.. These cut the glare and lead to excellent vision enhancement.. Very comfortable and light..

    With the cold temperatures my eyes have a tendency to water over 10mph when I was at speed on some of the longer downhill runs I was cruising 20mph+ on the trails.

    My only con is I have a longer face with flatter cheeks and wish the bottom of the lenses were a little longer to block the wind coming in from the bottom..

    They had no fogging issues while riding and when I stopped and they did fog up they cleared right up only a few seconds into the ride again.

    Overall great glasses and I will be using them during the warmer weather..

    My Pivlock V90Max give better bottom coverage but really like the auto dark function of the Tifosi.

    I can not comment on scratch resistance and such since I only used them during snow season for a few months.
