good tire for the price, a little "plain Jane" but they roll well, even over the chip seal, and they seem pretty durable.

Really does eliminate the need for a chain guide! I have just had this for a short time so I can't say whether it will continue to work this well as it wears but so far so good! Save yourself some money and some weight and change over to this ring for your 1x setup.

Comments about Duro Stinger Road Tire:

I purchased a few sets of these for my road bikes and so far I have no complaints. The blue and grey matches perfectly with one of my bikes. Sometimes I'm shallow like that. :) I plan on picking up a couple more as backups before they're gone.

Comments about Duro Stinger Road Tire:

These tires popped up on a daily deal for about $10, so I gave them a shot. After a few weeks, I have logged over 600 miles with no isues. I've used them in centuries, fast paced group rides, climbing, descending, and even a portion of unpaved road. They seem like they will last a while. I wish I had bought another pair while they were on sale.

Comments about Duro Stinger Road Tire:

I've got 1000km on these with no issues. I replaced some Michelin pro race 3's, and chose these on a whim because they were so light, inexpensive, and the color coordinated with my bike - figured if they didn't work out, I'd keep them as spares. But they've surprised me. I'm over 1000km into them now and haven't had a single problem. The weight rating on them is very close to reality (rated 206, weighed 212 - the pro race 3's were actually heavier in spite of being rated lower). They're reasonable grip - nothing spectacular... but reasonable grip + very light weight + quite reliable + inexpensive is one hard to beat combination IMO.
