A beautiful stand indeed, and I'm sure it is remarkably stable--the reason being it is HUGE! It doesn't say on the website, though on the packaging it does clearly say 53 inch diameter. 53 inches! I had to return it as with two legs against the wall, the third leg stuck out into the workspace 42 inches. Just too big for my humble repair corner.

Very nice stand, have tried most of the other major brands and really like this stand. Clamp works awesome and also gives you a great platform to simply rest the seat if you use a dropper.

Comments about Feedback Sports Feedback Pro-Elite Work Stand:

This stand is really the only stand you should ever need as a bike mechanic. Don't waste your time with cheaper stands! This is an investment that will last you a lifetime. As a mechanic I've used a LOT of different bike stands and this one is the absolute best I've used so far, aside from fancy-schmancy hydraulic work stands that are way overkill for bicycle use.

You should buy this stand because... well, it's what us professionals use! The rubber coated clamp is a breeze to use and holds the seatpost nice and tight, and releases with the push of a button. The head rotates and tilts a full 360 degrees and can be locked in any position for easy access to any part of the bike, even upside-down. The height is adjustable so you can perfectly position the bike where you need it. The base of the stand is a tripod so it doesn't rock, and it's perfectly stable on most flat surfaces. The construction is oversized anodized aluminum so it doesn't flex under heavy loads like other stands. The footprint of the stand is large enough to support and balance out most standard bikes. You probably won't be able to flip a DH bike upside down at maximum extension without the stand tipping, but.. why would you need to position it like that anyway? The stand works great for all types of repair and is pretty much indestructible. Buy it with the tote bag if you ever plan on taking it anywhere besides your garage because it's easier to tote around with the bag.

All in all, this is a shop-quality stand that will last you many, many years if you treat it right. My buddy has had his for over 10 years, abused it, and it's still going strong. Only downsides to this stand is that it has a rather large footprint unfolded, so people with very limited space might want something else. Also, while the photos show a tool tray attached, the tray is sold separately. You should only use this stand to clamp seatposts because the clamping power is pretty substantial and could easily crush a carbon frame if you clamped the frame. (Who clamps bikes by the frame anyway?) Finally, the red anodized finish on the stand is durable but will fade a little bit over time if left out in the sun.

Comments about Feedback Sports Feedback Pro-Elite Work Stand:

Wow, a bit bigger than I expected though when your holding 40lbs of bike not such a bad thing. Got it with the bag as it makes it nicer to store but not as portable as I expected. Seems well constructed and tough. Initally wanted a Park Tool stand but the incompatibilityof some stands and accessories made it difficult to figure out what to buy so I opted for this instead and I'm happy with it. Always wanted a stand so yay for me! Got the tooltray too and it also was bigger than I expected so...

I bought this stand for work in my garage. General maintenance to hard core repairs. It is a durable work stand with good balance and holding power even when you are cranking on it. I bought the bag for it too so it is even easily transportable. Great overall stand.

The price and delivery time from Jenson was great, no issues at all.The stand is a quality piece of equipment, very well built and very simple to use.

Also like the fact that it is aluminum so it will last, not rust and could use it for washing the bike and not worry about it rusting.Great device for those who wish to baby their bikes!

The improvements that stand out most for this newer model are the lighter weight and easier levers. The legs are a Tony bit shorter, so the stability is slightly reduced. All in all, this is a great unit. Get the one with the duffel, well made and totally worth the 20 extra bucks.
