The Moto short is designed to handle the extreme demands of hard downhill and freeride mountain biking. Made from thick, 600 denier polyester, the Moto short is extremely durable and perfectly suited for protecting you from the big crashes that are all too common in big mountain riding. The Moto short also features built in hip padding for extra protection and is equipped with a convenient ratchet waist closure so you don’t have to wear a belt while you ride.

These shorts are great, they give you a little more confidence knowing that if you fall you're protected a little bit. They are comfortable and work well enough for pedaling. I wouldn't do hours of climbing in the heat in them as they are thick and would probably be too hot. Great shorts for a Great price.
