I ordered a size 36, and the waist band fit fine, but about 4 inches below the waist band the pants were very tight. So for instance I could not put my hands in the pockets. I returned the shorts immediately.

I use this for my DH racing, I barely use any other shorts anymore. I also use them for my Freeriding and just casual riding. These shorts are flexible, comfortable, and arent so baggy they flap in the wind. Other shorts bunch up in awkward places but these dont. The lower back pad is unnoticeable but does its job protecting when falling. Only thing is when you sweat it doesnt breathe quite as well as other shorts, but that isnt very noticeable either.

Great shorts! I really like the double hem to cut the length and customize them to your desire. I would definitely buy them again.

I love these shorts, they are very comfortable, loose fitting in the legs and the waistband is adjustable using velcro fittings. I use them for both XC and AM riding. And the material is very sturdy.
