Pros

  • Micro-adjust
  • Sturdy

Cons

    Best Uses

    • General use seatpost

    Comments about Truvativ Hussefelt Seatpost:

    Pros:

This is a no-frills seatpost. The big plus here is the micro-adjust clamp, which is vital for dialing in that perfect fit on your bike.

    Cons:

While it has not affected the structural integrity of the clamp, setting the seat at a specific angle (in my case, level, with a Brook Teamp Pro) caused the rear adjustment screw to bite into the aluminum clamp. Again, this is superficial damage, but it seems that if the clamp is capable of going through a range of angles, then it should be able to do it flawlessly.

    Bottom Line:

Again, nothing special to write home about, aside from the micro-adjust. The shot-peened finish and graphics are not obtrusive in the least, making for a demure, functional component.

    Comments about Truvativ Hussefelt Seatpost:

Fits great in my Giant XTC Composite frame.

Overall build quality is high. It's lighter than I expected too.

Functional piece of kit, no complaints.
