Great crankset, best looking IMO. Shifts like a dream, XO rear derailleur, X9 up front & XO Shifters...it all coinsides very well with each other.

Comments about Truvativ Noir XC 3.3 Crankset 2010:
Have been a big sram advocate. Bought this crankset for my new yeti asr5 bike build 2 years ago. After one year of riding the crank bolts came loose on a knrwley ride. Never had this happen before on any bike in my 40 years of riding. Put it back together with locktight and rebuilt the bike completely. After the rebuild the crank arm bolt came loose within 2 rides. I tightened it back, this time slightly higher than the torque specs. Next ride the drive side berring blew out. Never had that happen in my 40 rears of riding either. I am very easy on my gear, but this crank has been a headache. I have never had to service any of my xtr or raceface cranks. Whats up Sram?

Comments about Truvativ Noir XC 3.3 Crankset 2010:
I read many reviews prior to buying this crank, and many reviews on installation perils for my bike. For the most part they were spot on. I have a 2007 Stumpy pro carbon, 73 mm shell. The insructions from mfg indicate no spacers are required, but you will need one on the driveside, this was also verified on many forums. Make sure you grease and torque everything to specs...40 N.m may seem like a lot for that 8 mm bolt, but it is necessary.
As for all the comments about the crank arms scuffing easily, I haven't had much of an issue with that yet. That may be due to my look pedals that have less floating; therefore, less heel scuffing. overall these cranks rock.
Comments about Truvativ Noir XC 3.3 Crankset 2010:
Upshifts, especially into the big ring, are immediate and with no chatter. Definitely my favorite 3x setup.

Best crankset I've ever owned. Currently set up as a 36-24-bash with a Blackspire Stinger on my Nomad. A great deal on sale!
