PowerSpline Bottom Bracket / Race Saver
The PowerSpline bottom bracket is heavy but the quality in my opinion is very good. The bearings roll smoothly and the bottom bracket holds up to alot of punishment. I race xc here in Texas on a hard tail so the bike suffers alot of abuse. I never worry about my bottom bracket failing with this unit. Thanks to Jenson's prompt shipping, shipped the same day as I ordered, they saved my weekend race. There are very few companies that realize how precious people's time is and Jenson is one of them, don't change Jenson and you will have my future business.

Pretty good for the price
It's great for the price but I think it's a little heavy and not super durable. However, given the price, it does not hurt the wallet too much to replace more often than a more expensive unit.

You get what you pay for.
Replacement for the bottom bracket on my commuter bike. The original BB of the same make and model more or less disintegrated after some 10 months (less than 2 full cycling seasons here where I live) while the clicking noises kept driving me crazy for quite some time before that.
The guesstimated millage I got from the original BB might have been somewhere in the 3000-3500 km (1900-2200 miles) range ridden in some 120 days. To be fair, my commute involves almost 700 meters (23000 ft.) of more or less continuous descending on a highway in the morning and the same amount of climbing, mashing the pedals on gravel roads and single tracks at night. Granted, this may be putting a little more of strain on this product than the manufacturer may have intended for it.
My main complain, besides its questionable durability, is about the limited compatibility of this product. There is virtually no room for an upgrade if you intend to stick with your original crankset or vice versa. This BB is cheap though so I bought this replacement to ride it into the ground with the original chainrings. Once they give up their ghost I'll replace the BB and the crankset for something more suitable for trail riding.
After some consideration I am giving 3 stars. This BB is really inexpensive, after all.

PROS: Works Ok

CONS: Limited Durability, Limited Compatibility

It is heavy and does not last
The original BB of the same make and model more or less disintegrated after less than 2 bike commuting seasons, +/- 10 months, 3000-3500 km (1900-2200 miles). My night commute involves almost 700m (23000 ft.) of climbing mostly up the dirt roads and single tracks. This may be putting the BB under a little more strain than the manufacturer may have intended for it.
My main complaint, besides about the questionable durability, is about the lack of any room for upgrades. This BB appears to be compatible only with a limited number of cranks and vice versa. I bought another one of these only to ride the original chainrings of my Specialized Crosstrail Comp into the ground. Once they give up a ghost I plan to replace the BB and the crankset for something more suitable for trail riding.
