I have a high end giro helmet and a bell helmet and I prefer the UVEX helmet. I have been wearing it exclusively on road and cyclocross training rides. It's easy to adjust to fit and has excellent ventilation.

This is a really comfortable and lightweight helmet. It has a bug mesh and a really comfortable clasp that prevents any kind of pinching. I liked it so much, I purchased another for my daughter.

Great and comfortable helmet. If I were 1 cm larger in head circumference, I would not be able to use this helmet and would have never used the large, due that it is huge for my head. I am 56.5mm and love the fit of this helmet sold as 52 to 56 cm.

Using the helmet on 50-75 mile road rides. Also have high end Giro and Bell helmets as well, this one is just as good and feels lighter than Atmos. Like that the shell seems proporatioal to the size (I wear small/ medium with Giro and the shell looks big in comparison to my cranium!). Fit is good, easy to adjust the rear on a fly. Although the chin strap is comfy, the latch or buckle takes some getting use to - but does have a nice ratchet feel when buckling.

I may love this helmet because I got a killer July deal on it. But, I like it better than any Giro I have owned in the past. I have only bought Giro helmets so far. But, an awesome price from JensonUSA made me jump for this one since I wanted a helmet specific to road cycling. Appropriately, the colors match my bike, which is very important to roadies. So, that's good. But, even better is how comfortable and cool it is. I live in SoCal and it gets hot in the summer. But, I can't complain about this helmet. I think the bug nets are a great idea since I have had insects fly into my helmet and it's disconcerting. The adjustment system is excellent and fits my noggin perfectly. I may never buy another Giro again!
