Comments about Velo PRONTO-Z1 Saddle:
This seat is excellent for the money. I feel like it's dated in appearance, but no biggy. I bought it for the comfort, and it does the job fairly well, and so far it seems to be hold up well with my frequent rides on my XC on single tracks.

Comments about Velo PRONTO-Z1 Saddle:
Bought one, then liked it so much I got a second one to put on another bike. I replaced a couple of OEM seats that were either ripped or uncomfortable. The gel padding is great, and it fits much better fit than either of the seats I replaced. They are mainly used for commuting and rides under 30 miles, but should feel fine for longer outings.

Comments about Velo PRONTO-Z1 Saddle:
I bought this to replace a disintegrating 12 year old Velo that came stock on a Performance Bicycle aluminum hardtail MTB that had been sitting unused for nearly a decade.
I'm not sure why, but I do find this seat initially uncomfortable on the bottom of my hips for the first few hundred yards or so of a ride. Perhaps the gel needs time to warm up, as after that initial distance, I cease to notice the seat. My riding as of late has been a 3 mile urban commute, and aside from the mentioned initial discomfort, I have found the Pronto-Z1 up to the task of riding on worn Chicago streets.
For comparison purposes, I'm 5'7" and 150lbs, and usually ride with a backpack full of gym gear.

This is a really nice seat for a really good price. It is way more comfortable than any saddle I have owned before.

They say you get what you pay for but every now and then you come accross a great deal. I ride over 40 miles on average. I was looking for something vented. I was looking for a gel seat. It was a little bigger then I thought but great non the less. I ride an average of 10 miles a day with out Gel pants or shorts. So its great with out padded pants but amazing with. I can ride over 100 miles and not feel soar. Not the best saddle in the world but the best for the price.

i got this to replace a ritchie saddle that came with my used bike.the ritchie hurt my stuff like no other and it stayed hurt for a long time..this seat is new and so it is molding to me and probably most important is the perrenial nerve cluster relieving channel..this channel makes it so the temporary soreness i am having while adjusting to the seat [my sit bone muscles]is just where it should be[in the sit bone muscles] and not all my stuff, also i am getting those muscles built up so pain is les and less everyday..with other saddles [no channel] id stay sore always.gettin comfy!
Comments about Velo PRONTO-Z1 Saddle:
Hi !I used all the different saddles out there, also the very expensive ones, but this little secret saved my lower back-bones an even my more vital parts. Medium soft/hard, medium wide, medium weight, cool looks. I'm a 6' 3" 200 Lbs 30 miles a day man, and even go for some heavy loaded camping tours. An other cheap secret is the Selle Italia X2 Transam Kevlar, a little harder and lighter than the Velo. Last touring saddle I gave a try was the specialized avatar which was absolutely NOT good ! Cheers,Max
Comments about Velo PRONTO-Z1 Saddle:
This saddle is being used in conjuction with a Thudbuster 3G. It's firm enough for long rides over a lot of bumpy singletrack and granite outcroppings. The shape works well for me and the price is right. It's a huge improvement over the OEM seat (also a VELO).
