I've ridden on these tires for about 4 months, and am very satisfied. Although they are certainly not as fast as less-knobbed tires (think maxxis, continental), they climb extremely well, and feel especially secure on loose dirt and gravel, as well as wet conditions. The protruding knobs seem to hold up well to the small bit of road riding I have to do to get to my local trails. Feels GREAT on sketchy, steep, rutted trails - they will increase your confidence. Would recommend.

I have been using these tires for years if not a decade. They are the best. I have tried others but when the conditions go from sand to mud, dry to rain, up to down I have never had a problem with these tires. I have had a few that allowed puncture flats and I have had one wreck the destroyed a side wall. But for as many miles that I have riden on these tires, I can surely praise their ability.

I HAD BEEN USING THE TIRES FOR A COUPLE OF RIDES NOW AND THE TRACTION WITH THESE ONES ARE SUPERB. ON ROCKY SOILS AND LOOSE GRAVEL THE TREAD COMBINATION IS STATE OF ART. GREAT BUY FOR THE MONEY.

these tires feel like an upgrade to the stock tires that came with my Scott. I ride trails with tons of roots, sand and corners - these tires have been awesome so far they climb anything and do not slip even when it is a little damp out. I do not notice the weight at all, but can feel the stick when I dive into corners...Great tires that work and look good too!!

I have tried a few of the best out there (e.g., Maxxis H.Roller, Kenda Navega Stick-e)to name a few and I find my-self going back to the velociraptors. I love to do a lot of climbing and challenge my self with steeper climbs and the WTB velocis are just the best tires i have found for these riding conditions. They seem to be always planted to the ground in comparison to the others. They are not mud-shredders but they are the way to go if you love to climb!

I ordered the Velociraptors about two weeks ago and I've put over 100 miles on them so far. From path to trail they've handled everything just great. They look cool on my bike too :)
