Right, these are not the best pedals you can buy. But it's not really fair to bash these pedals, either. They're NINE DOLLARS!!!. They're a legitimate 300 grams per set, they have a decent steel spindle and smooth spinning bearings. The nylon cage has plenty of grip if you have decent shoes (5.10's), and the platform is big enough as long as you're not doing serious DH/DJ. Bashing rocks will break them, yes. Rocks will also break $200 pedals. I'm perfectly happy with these so far and I'm going to buy a second set.
I got these pedals on my new bike I purchased- and to be honest, pedals weren't on my check list of what I was in for while purchasing. The bike is literally 20 hours old and both pedals have failed. Worthless.
PROS: Came on the bike
CONS: Plastic splits at seams, Both Pedals one ride use, Worthless bearings, Broke first time out
