Finally. A competition level chain that won't leave you stranded. No problems shifting with SRAM or Shimano components. Chains might not be sexy, but without a good one you won't go very far. Whipperman makes a great chain with precision. It hasn't stretched one bit under very demanding circumstances and many, many miles.

Very strong chain, and will last much longer than a shimano chain if you keep it clean and lubed. I did notice that it shifts a bit worse than my old shimano chain, even though it has had time to wear in with the cassette. I have heard the same from others as well. Also, the pins will rust if you leave it wet.

Reliable clean shifting and can even be used on a worn freewheel where other chains skip- not in all cases but many times this chain just beds into a worn Freewheel. Sometimes it may skip a bit on a worn freewheel for the first 200 miles but then settles down to the typical smooth wipperman way. Again- not all the time but odds are that with a worn freewheel, this is your best bet. KMC and SRAM are all noisier than wipperman and dont shift as well.
