Wolf Tooth 45T GC Cog for Shimano 11 speed

Shimano has joined in on the 1x11 speed game and Wolf Tooth has already come up with a way to "hack" it. Their uncompromising approach to manufacturing and design has led to a 45T cog that is optimized for use with the Shimano 11-42 cassette. It will give the rider that extra little bump in gearing that they be looking for. In the box, you will not only receive the 45T cog, but also an 18T replacement cog and spacer to which makes for smoother gear transitions.

  • GC45, 18t replacement cog, and spacer for 18t cog included
  • Also compatible with Shimano 11 speed 11-42 cassettes
  • Can be run in 2x configuration with a long cage (SGS) rear derailleur (max front difference is 13t with a double and 11-45 cassette)
  • Goatlink 11 is not required but provides improvement in free-chain length (shifting crispness), bringing free chain length back to better than with an 11-42 cassette.
