Bought these to replace some damaged Dia-Compe BRS Blaze aero levers on my '94 Bridgestone xo-3. I mounted these on the stock Nitto mustache bars.
I ride in city traffic and have to brake frequently. My fingers can always find the sculpted lever when I need it, and I can fire off a crisp squeeze with just a few digits.
These are big, chunky solid levers with a smooth action. They pull plenty of cable and work well with my cantilever brakes. The levers have no play, unlike the old Dia-Compes.
It's comfy riding on the hoods as well, even when they're mounted sideways on the mustache bars.
If you study the product photo you will notice a certain resemblance to another brand. Do not hesitate to buy these instead of the other brand, you'll be happy with these XLC's. And you'll be in for a fun surprise when you study the logo on the side of the hoods.

Bought these for my girlfriend who found the standard brakes on her Langster to be too large to grab easily. With this she feels much more confortable being able to grab some brake.

I ordered the "womens" size for smaller hands, the levers arrived but they are NOT the same model as pictured so beware. The full size might be but I guess I will never know since I am not buying another set. I even purchased the gum hoods from XXX so I can use this set on my retro bike but that will not happen now. Disappointed and this was my first Jenson order. No, I am not going to bother to return them. I just put them into the Life Sucks bucket and take it like a man.

It's not that they aren't... you know, brake levers. I just sort of thought they would send me the actual pictured brake levers, not some lame substitute. Without asking me. After I specifically asked if they would be as pictured. They sent me some crummy substitute that isn't the shape or angle that I wanted. That I could have gotten elsewhere for half this price. They sent me the 340's or some nonsense. The ones pictured are the 200s. I wanted the ones that feel like the Campy levers on my other bike. As pictured in the photo accompanying the levers that I ordered. Waste of my time and money.
