    If you have a Yakima brand hitch rack I would strongly recommend purchasing this hitch lock. Without it anyone with some tools could technically remove the rack from the hitch. This small piece secures the rack onto the hitch and requires a key to have it unlocked and removed. I wish it initially came with the rack but its a small price to pay for piece of mind.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
