The ASR Carbon screams speed and efficiency on the mountain. The spirit of the ASR Carbon is the high modulus carbon fiber frame, which has been optimized for stiffness and weight reduction. Yeti doesn’t believe in “Good enough.” Although they have a feathery light frame, they added titanium hardware, to further drop the bike’s weight. The relaxed geometry provides the rider with a comfortable riding position for long rigorous cross country adventures.
Although this bike is feathery light, it was built to take a beating. Oversized carbon chain stays keep the rear end stable and stiff when you need maximum power to the pedals. Like a chameleon, the ASR Carbon is adaptable. Yeti allows you to easily convert the standard 135mm QR rear axle to the oversized 142mm x 12mm thru axle with their chip system (sold separately.)
