Yeti took twenty years of ARC racing and updated it with fast rolling 29” wheels or if you’re shorter a 27.5”. The frame was designed with classic ARC racing lines, and was updated with larger wheels for a smooth and responsive ride. Yeti has become a carbon guru, therefore it was only natural to release the ARC in carbon. The ARC’s carbon frame absorbs trail chatter, and provides a comfortable ride. The tapered head tube and 142x12” ensure a stiff front and rear end for superior control on the single track.
Let’s focus on the geometry for a second. Yeti designed the ARC around geometry rather than wheel size. Yeti spent a lot of time developing the best possible cross country ride, and they came up with a design that utilized the 27.5” or 650b platform for the extra small and small sizes, and a 29” wheel for the medium, large, and extra large. The extra small and small sizes have a 69.5 degree head angle, and the medium through extra large have a 70 degree head angle. This upright geometry maximizes pedaling efficiency, especially during trying climbs.Descends are equally comfortable with the 72 degree seat angle.
The Yeti ARC frame is your chance to build up your ultimate carbon hardtail. With spot on geometry and expert craftsmanship, you are sure to build up the perfect bike.

Comments about Yeti Cycles Yeti ARC Carbon Frame 2013:
I bought this bike as I wanted a fast and light XC racer - wanted better uphill times on Strava (sad!). Still, 12 new PB's on the first ride.
What I really like about it is how stiff and precise the bike feels. It goes where you point it, with no flex and no hesitation. Makes railing corners easy and exciting.
Not too harsh at all - as long as you get your butt off the seat over the rocky bits. Much smoother than I was anticipating. This is coming off a 140mm SC Tallboy dually. Well, when you land a jump you remember its a hard-tail. Downhill rock gardens are much easier than I anticipated for a hard tail.
Setup - Sminano XT 2x10, Easton Haven wheels with Racing Ralph tires (tubeless at 28psi), Syntace Highflex seatpost, Fox 120 CTD fork, XTR trail pedals, 720 bars with 60mm stem.
Haven't checked the weight yet but feels sooo light.
Comments about Yeti Cycles Yeti ARC Carbon Frame 2013:
Frame is stiff so acceleration is instantaneous. Geometry is spot on. It's neither twitchy nor sluggish, switchbacks are easy, downhills are confident. It's very easy to put a lot of weight on the back wheel for climbing but not have the front get out of control, yet it's easy to get the front wheel up over any trail features you need to. Very happy with this frame. Coming from a 26er I was expecting to give up a lot of "liveliness" and deal with some of the "negatives" associated with 29ers, but this bike has all the benefits of a 29er but feels like a 26.
