Zipp’s SL145 Carbon Stem was not easy to design and manufacture. There are 50 carbon sections of cloth and titanium bolts sourced from the same manufacturer that Ducati MOTO Gp uses. But, with difficult gestations comes beautiful results. The Zipp SL145, according to the independent EFBe testing lab, is the stiffest strongest all carbon stem available. Strength is easy to construct, but Zipp also accomplished this in a 135 gram (100mm) package!
