Awesome bars for an awesome price

Comments about Zipp Service Course 70 Ergo Handlebar:

I ride a single speed track bike as my only mode of transportation and went with these bars. They are made of AL6061 so they are going to be light weight, strong and not going to shake my teeth loose riding over neglected city streets.

The upper section is flattened somewhat so while climbing in the saddle you have a really great place to clamp on to and really put the power down. Riding on the hoods is aided by the adjustment to the angle of the bars where the levers attach. No drastic dips to get on the hoods lends itself to a really smooth transition from the uppers to the hoods.

In the drops. The best part of this bar is getting a handful of those drops, popping out of the saddle and absolutely SMASHING. The ergo section is straightened out in comparison to tradition style drop bars. The angle of your wrist isn't as sharp but you can still get/stay low but still feel totally in control whether you are just spinning along or putting the power down trying to make that light that just clicked over to yellow.

A great set of bars from a highly respected company that didn't cut corners to produce an awesome piece of kit at a fantastic price.

    • Q:

Hello. I am curious as to what size the inside diameter of the bars are. Specifically the area where you would generally insert bar ends? Everything that I've read about the bars leads me to believe that the shape/size may differ from that of traditional bars. Any information would be welcomed and appreciated.

      Thanks!!!
