Customer Support I, II, and III

Customer Support is the primary link between Jenson USA and our customers. You will assist customers with placing orders, provide technical guidance, handle returns and exchanges, and handle issues like damaged or lost shipments. Jenson USA offers customer support via telephone, email, and live chat. If you have a passion for bikes and a willingness to share it, this could be the position for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming customer phone calls, email, and live chat requests.
• Participate in regular training to maintain Jenson USA’s reputation as having the most knowledgeable, expert staff.
• Deliver superior service to our customer base.
• Grow knowledge of technical compatibility and bicycle industry practices through active reading of industry publications, websites, seminars, etc.
• Jenson USA maintains retail-focused operating hours; occasional work on Saturday/Sunday is a requirement.

Inventory Analyst

The Inventory Analyst contributes to JensonUSA’s success by optimizing inventory management. This person will be central to the development and execution of inventory and vendor success and will ensure inventory KPI’s are being met as well as cultivating vendor relationships through JensonUSA’s core values. This position will be accountable for the creating, maintaining and governing the processes which support inventory management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Product planning, forecasting and replenishment
• Develop product categories
• Manage margin, inventory turn and category growth
• Track vendor performance
• Identify risks and opportunities
• Vendor relationship service
• Demonstrate logical analysis and problem solving skills
• Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
• Able to build and maintain productive relationships with peers
• Identify and manage emerging and declining trends
• Negotiate pricing, terms and commitments
• Develop retail pricing strategies
• Execute competitive pricing analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or relevant experience required
• 7+ years bicycle industry experience
• Inventory management experience preferred
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong planning, organizational, math and analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and remain detail oriented
• Must be a proactive problem-solver with good follow-through
• Must be a self starter, and able to work with minimal supervision

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate will assist with the daily operations in our Riverside Distribution Center. They will also support and help in our other Operations Department functions as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Order processing: Picking, Packing, Manifesting, Loading, Unloading, Cleaning, Kitting
• Efficiency, Accuracy and minimum productivity standards are met regularly
• Other functions include: Receiving, Put away, Down Stocking, Cycle Counting, etc
• Maintain all work areas, warehouse tools and supplies in an efficient and organized manner
• Provide an environment of support and teamwork to achieve common goals for all JensonUSA departments
• Must have a sense of humor and communicate effectively
• Provide support and help develop new procedures and processes related the operations departments

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience a must
• Prior Bike Shop Experience a plus
• Bicycle Mechanic trade school a plus
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to work an 8 hour shift on feet
• Ability to lift/move 30-70 lbs regularly throughout shift

Will-Call Desk Clerk

The Will-Call Desk Clerk is the primary way that customers in our Riverside Will-Call center interact with Jenson USA. This position helps customers with order entry, returns, and selection of components. Provides guidance on the usage and suitability of the products we sell.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Will-Call customers with order entry:manual entry of orders, guidance on using kiosks, etc
• Pick orders from the Jenson USA warehouse for delivery to customers. Notify customers of pending Will-Call pickups and availability dates.
• Prepare the Will-Call Center for normal operations at opening time (lights, signage, setup PCs, etc) and handle End of Day procedures.
• Handle overflow incoming customer service phone calls and email onan as-needed basis
• Assist with the setup and teardown of marketing events at the Will-Call Center (movie premieres, vendor presentations, etc)

Qualifications

No specific formal education is required. A bicycle background is a must. Successful person in this position will be an advocate for cycling in the local community. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be computer literate (browser, email, office applications)

Retail Store Associate

Assist customers with the selection and purchase of bicycles, components and accessories.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customer with component upgrade for their bicycles.
• Greet and assist customers with the purchase of bicycles and accessories.
• Merchandising of product and general cleanliness of sales floor.ssist service tech with customer repairs of mountain and road bikes.
• Assist manager with maintaining and tracking inventory.
• Maintain a neat and organized Point of Sale work area.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of bicycle components and bicycle compatibility.
• Applicant must be computer literate and familiar with office type applications.
