Commuting by bike is becoming more popular and much easier to do with the rise of E-bikes. With an E-bike, you can cover longer distances and carry all your gear without getting exhausted before work. This is a great option for those who want to leave their vehicles at home more often. The Batch Bicycles E-Commuter E-Bike is a pedal-assist commuter that is powered by a Bosch motor. It will help you go farther on your everyday rides and will help make steep hills feel flat. It has a 6061 aluminum frame with an aluminum fork. The Bosch Active Line Gen 3 motor produces 250W and will help riders get up to 20 mph. The battery charges in 6.5 hours and has a minimum range of about 30 miles and a maximum range of about 80 miles.
The E-Commuter comes with a Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain. The cassette has an 11-32-tooth gear range that is perfect for around the town and works well on hills. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes provide ample stopping power so you can descend hills with confidence. Disc brakes also perform well in adverse weather conditions, so riding in wet weather is a breeze. Double-wall alloy rims are paired with Formula hubs for a durable wheelset and the Kenda Kwick Twenty 5 Sport tires have enhanced flat protection. With plastic fenders and a rear rack, you can easily ride in wet weather and carry all your gear.
