i gave it a shot because of the nylon cover described in the text about it. because to me, a saddle's surface has to be slick. this is why i never got the cambium/cotton. sounded too 'grippy'. so imagine my surprise when the cambium 'all weather'(due to a nylon surface)reveals itself as feeling & acting like bare rubber. far too much 'adhesion' to one's clothing, and comfort? average to below average. took a $100 gamble....and lost. will be selling it.
Purchased this for my wife. She's been wanting a new saddle for her longer gravel rides, and knows how happy I have been with the C17. She's gotten a couple of 40ish mile rides in with it and is happy so far. Only downside is that it's a bit heavy.
I replaced the old saddle on my commuter bike with the Brooks Cambium C15 all weather and price be damned, I may get another for my weekend / Fundo bike. The seat is comfortable, easy to install, and looks top notch. I'm not in love with the plastic portion at the back, but that's a minor detail. The furthest I have gone to date is 20 miles, but I would trust it to comfortably support me much further. The Cambium is grippy which is an odd feeling at first in Jeans and Khakis but I don't foresee any premature wear issues.
