The Cane Creek Forty name has long been known as the go-to headset for long-lasting quality that won’t empty your bank account. This performance headset borrows technology and design from Cane Creek’s top-of-the-line 110 headset, offering similar longevity and performance without the price tag. The Forty uses a full-alloy construction, with 6000 series alloy cups for lightweight precision that resists corrosion. The ZN40 sealed cartridge bearings are zinc-coated for corrosion resistance, with hardened steel ball bearings for smooth operation and durability. This headset uses a Clip-Seal design to completely seal off the top headset assembly, and a face seal at the crown race to further seal off the headset from contamination, creating a smooth-running headset for many miles to come.
