Hand built plus sized all mountain performance

Chromag's iconic Primer frame accommodates 29" or 27.5+ wheels with ease, and features geometry designed for aggressive all mountain riding. Hand built in Canada by local fabricator Mike Truelove, the Primer is built in small batches that are painted individually for each customer. The Primer uses what Chromag describes as their most progressive 29er geometry to date. Short chainstays and a low BB gives the Primer snappy and responsive handling. A steep seattube and a slack head angle, low stack, short headtube and long front center puts you in the perfect attack position. Meticulous craftwork makes this the best descending 29er Chromag has put out to date, but it still climbs as well as any other models. Building a frame with 27.5+ compatibility required Chromag to redesign their Yokel Junction to maximize their chainstay layout clearance. Incorporating a BB92 bb shell and boost dropout spacing makes for the most room possible, so you can run tires as wide as 3.0".
