Continental’s newest edition of the famed Grand Prix line, the 5000-series utilizes several different proprietary technologies in one tire, making some seriously capable rubber. Continental features their proprietary Black Chili rubber compound in the GP5000, using advanced polymers and carbon particles to balance optimize grip and lower rolling resistance without sacrificing durability. Active Comfort Technology smooths out the bumps in the road, while the Lazer Grip shoulder micro-tread profile increases cornering performance. The 5000 S TR is the tubeless-compatible version of the Grand Prix, which combines classic performance, a stronger sidewall and modern tubeless-ready technology for the ultimate road experience.
