If building up a DT Swiss SPLINE® wheelset, the DT Swiss Pro Head Reinforcement Washers for Spline One Rims is what you need. Part of DT's Pro Head Reinforcement System, these washers have a larger and more spherical contact area - think ball and socket interface. It's designed to balance loads transferred to the rim, by allowing the spoke to pivot and follow the perfect trajectory from hub to rim.
