Sometimes the path ahead is full of twists and turns. Detours-planned or unexpected-that stretch across forgotten gravel roads and time-worn city streets. The Haanjo Tero is a simple way to expand your riding horizons and change the way you map out your routes. It was designed to function as a comfortable gravel and unpaved road race machine but, thankfully for you, the Haanjo Tero transcends the bounds of the original design. Whether you're itching to cut a line through a stretch of untamed hardpack or simply in need of a versatile bike that can tackle the grind of the daily commute to work, the Haanjo is ready to roll.
Designed with stability and endurance in mind, the Haanjo features Diamondback's endurance geometry which offers a slightly higher head tube height that helps to reduce strain on a rider's back and neck. This improves the fit for riders with marginally less pelvic rotation and core stability. The Haanjo also offers a slightly slacker headtube angle than a typical racing-focused cyclocross bike. This feature along with a longer wheelbase offers the rider much more confidence and stability in descents and in the corners. Wider drop bars provide extra leverage for the climbs and added control on the way down. With mounts for a rack and fenders and room for larger tires, it is clear that the Haanjo is a very capable rig. Gravel grinder? Sure. The perfect commuter? Perhaps. Comfortable long distance rides? Most certainly.
The Haanjo Tero features a fully butted 6061-T6 alloy disc specific frame with a formed top tube and a steel fork, adding stability and control. The Alloy Cross crankset works with the Shimano Claris 8-speed drivetrain to provide an efficient gear range that'll see you agreeably through both flat and slanted terrain. Tektro Lyra mechanical disc brakes with 160mm front and 140mm rear rotors offer ample stopping power and a great feel. Diamondback pairs the Haanjo Tero with DB Equation CX 28h rims laced to sealed alloy hubs. The wheelset is wrapped with 40mm wide Kenda Flintridge tires for a plush feeling that's at home on the dirt as it is on the pavement. Rounding out the capable Haanjo Tero is a DB El Dorado saddle and DB seatpost to put you comfortably in the right position.
