DEFENDING YOUR RIMS
Tubeless setups have revolutionized the way many mountain bikers ride their bikes. You can drop the tire pressure for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. The biggest downside with lower tire pressure is the potential for rim damage from a big hit. The Flat Tire Defender 2 is 40% wider than the previous version to maximize rim protection and dampen up suspension harshness on rough terrain. It's also 30% taller to maximize tire sidewall support and allow for lower tire pressure for increased traction, lighter for less rolling resistance, and are made of high-quality foam rubber.
