Whether you're bombin' down the mountain, going for a KOM, or just cruising the trails, you should have a helmet on your head to protect your noggin. The Giro Tyrant MIPS Helmet is designed to meet the needs of today's progressive trail riders. With extended coverage all around the head, the Tyrant combines the coverage of a full-face helmet and the breathability of a half-shell. The Tyrant has Wind Tunnel Ventilation in conjunction with MIPS Spherical technology that utilizes a pair of foam layers that work like a ball and socket to redirect impact energy in a crash. The EPS foam helps protect during high-speed crashes and the EPP foam takes care of low-speed crashes. With the Roc Loc Air DH fit system, you get a super-ventialted design that you can easily dial in the perfect fit.
