Disc brakes provide enhanced stopping power over rim brakes. They especially perform better in various weather conditions. Brake pads need to be replaced with regular use, and when you're choosing new pads, keep in mind that not all pads are created equally. The Hayes Dominion A4 Brake Pads are designed for the Dominion A4 hydraulic disc brakes. They are available as either a sintered metallic or a semi-metallic. The semi-metallic pads provide enhanced modulation and silent operation while the sintered pads provide optimal stopping power in wet and dry conditions.
