Nothing is more frustrating than bicycle standards. The biggest issue with standards is that every brand has their own standards that don't work with another brand's standards. When it comes to brake levers and shift levers, one brand's brake levers typically won't work with another brand's shift levers without an adapter. The Hayes Dominion Peacemaker Clamp is designed to adapt Hayes Dominion brake levers to SRAM or Shimano shift levers.
