CNC'd from 6/4 Titanium, KCNC's mountain skewers feature a progressive cam shaft design that uses a ball and joint socket to maximize surface area and create a self aligning closure. They are also anodized for a long lasting, vibrant finish.
These KCNC Ti skewers were advertised at 46g per pair and they weighed in at 40g per pair. A nice weight savings compared to my 124g XT skewers. The clamping force appears to be sufficient but certainly not as secure as the XT skewers. I've done a couple rough trail rides and they've held firm. Overall pleased with my purchase.
