Awesome In The Dirt And Around Town
Whether you want to ride around the neighborhood or you want to hit up the local singletracks, you'll love riding on a mountain bike. The Kona Lava Dome Bike is a dependable bike that is ready for your next adventure. It has a Kona 6061 aluminum butted frame that uses a Suntour XCR 32 LO-R suspension fork with 100mm of travel. The frame features internal cable routing, clearance for up to 29x2.6" tires, and quick-release hubs.
The Lava Dome comes with a MicroSHIFT Advent 1x9-speed drivetrain. The 28T chainring up front is paired with an 11-46T cassette on the rear. This combo will make hill climbing and pedaling through demanding terrain much easier so you can conquer more trails. Tektro HDM275 hydraulic disc brakes provide highly-reliable stopping power so you can descend under control. Alex DP27K rims are paired with WTB Trail Boss Tires that roll efficiently on hardpack trails but will provide ample traction when the dirt gets a little loose.
